  • Third Air Force command team visits 100th ARW

    The Third Air Force command team visited the 100th Air Refueling Wing at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, Sept. 24 - 25. Maj. Gen. Randall Reed, Third Air Force commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Randy Kwiatkowski, Third Air Force command chief, toured security forces, communications, maintenance and operations squadrons while visiting.
  • 100th ARW embodies agile combat employment during exercise

    The 100th Air Refueling Wing conducted a three-day exercise to test their capability to generate and deliver tanker airpower on a global scale, while extending the range of U.S. and joint forces in order to deter and mitigate any aggression. The exercise enabled U.S. Air Forces in Europe to employ Agile Combat Employment, ensuring the ability to operate from locations with varying levels of capacity and support, ensuring Airmen and aircrews are postured to deliver combat airpower across the spectrum of military operations.

    Twelve KC-135 Stratotankers assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing conducted an elephant walk on the flightline during Exercise Wolff Pack at RAF Mildenhall, England, Sept. 29, 2020. 
  • 100th MXG converts to virtual forms, saves valuable man-hours, money

    The 100th Maintenance Group recently became the first legacy unit in the Air Force to transition to full virtual forms for its aircraft and operations, removing the need for paper binders and saving dollars and resources.
  • Team Mildenhall honors Battle of Britain, celebrates Air Force birthday

    Team Mildenhall commemorated the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain and celebrated the Air Force's 73rd birthday at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, Sept. 18, 2020.  The day's events included a piano burning and flyover by the RAF Aerobatic Team, heritage aircraft and U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker, MC-130J Commando II and CV-22B Osprey.

    Team Mildenhall held a 5K Color Run for Equality that was put together by the WayForward Committee to advocate equality for all people regardless of their background.
  • Team Mildenhall remembers the fallen

    Team Mildenhall commemorated the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001 with several events here at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England. Of the events service members participated in a 5k, a walk to remember the fallen first repsonders, as well as a formation to remember those who lost their lives that day.
  • 100th ARW KC-135s support exercise Point Blank

    Multiple KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing conducted aerial-refueling missions enabling exercise Point Blank over the North Sea, Sept. 10, 2020. The exercise involved U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, Royal Air Force and Dutch aircraft and demonstrated the collective commitment to security within the U.S Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa theater.

At Royal Air Force Mildenhall, SERE specialists train aircrew year round on survival tactics and procedures to use should they be forced to abandon their aircraft.
