What to know: Shuttles will be available, and will depart one half hour prior to each of the briefings. Shuttles will depart the Bob Hope Community Center and the new gym parking lot on the West Row side of the parking lot at 7 a.m., 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Shuttles will return 10 minutes after each briefing.

The U.S. Air Forces in Europe Safety Office will conduct three driving safety seminars at RAF Mildenhall Aug. 3 in response to a command-wide increase in traffic accidents and driving injuries.

The presentation will feature testimonials of Airmen involved in accidents and DUIs, as well as videos and expert briefings. There are briefings in the morning at the base theater from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

To accommodate shift workers, another briefing is offered at Hangar 814 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. More briefings may be added if the need arises.

The goal of each 90-minute session is to reach as many people on the base as possible with an entertaining presentation relevant to driving in the United Kingdom.

All of Team Mildenhall is invited to attend, but particular emphasis is placed on drivers between 18 and 26 years old, drivers identified as high-risk by their commanders, and drivers who have recently arrived in the U.K.

We ask that commanders make an effort to send their at-risk drivers and under-26 Airmen as first priority.
