The skeleton was found about a half meter below the original ground during an excavation of land in RAF Mildenhall's Beck Row base housing where new construction is starting. It was estimated on site to be of 1st Century AD. Roman descent between 1,900 to 2,000 years old. (Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Tracy L. DeMarco)
