NSPS to GS conversion town hall meeting rescheduled

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Due to current travel restrictions affecting personnel assigned to RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath, the civilian personnel town hall briefings for NSPS to GS conversion have been rescheduled for April 28 and 29.

The adjusted dates and times are below:

RAF Mildenhall Base Theater Wednesday, April 28, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

RAF Lakenheath Strike Eagle Complex Thursday, April 29, at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Department of Defense announced Feb. 18 the majority of NSPS employees are projected to transition to non-NSPS personnel systems by Sept. 30, more than a year earlier than required by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal 2010.

The session is to address specific questions concerning the transition from NSPS to GS. Topics to be covered:

· Transition Schedules

· Classification

· Staffing

· Pay

Sessions are expected to last about 90 minutes.
