Airmen huddle together to learn how to read M9 detection tape for contamination and to take the proper procedures on how to correctly set up a controlled area during the “Ability To Survive and Operate” (ATSO) Rodeo at the Main Fitness Center Dec. 5, 2008, in RAF Mildenhall, England. The purpose of the training was to prepare Airman in participating in an upcoming Phase 1 and 2 exercise Dec. 8th-12th. Training consisted of hands-on self aid buddy care, unexploded ordnance identification and procedures, pre- and post-attack actions, and operating a contamination control area.
