Dave Golding, a truck driver with the 100th Civil Engineer Squadron, explores his musical side when off from work.

Mr. Golding has been a truck driver for the last two years but his musical ties go back as far as 20 years - the last three-and-a-half of which have been with fellow musician Dave Felted.

Their group, which consists of two guitar players and vocalists, plays a wide variety of covers, depending on their audience, and has gained a modest fan base.

"We have some very loyal fans that come to a lot of our performances," Golding said. "We usually draw a medium-sized audience depending on the event."

Although his musical career isn't his primary source of income, Dave said it provides him with something valuable.

"Playing music is a release for me," Golding said. "It gives me a creative outlet and allows me to express myself in a way that I couldn't do at my normal job."

Music fans might recognize Felted's Fender Stratocaster, a guitar played by famous musicians the likes of Eric Clapton, Eddy Van Halen, Jimmi Hendrix and John Lennon. Golding's guitar is a hand-made Manson Custom guitar.

Mr. Golding's guitar playing is one example of many interesting hobbies members of Team Mildenhall explore in their off time.
