With the scheduled Operational Readiness Inspection rapidly approaching, there's no time like the present for Team Mildenhall to kick it into high gear in terms of preparation.

One way to ensure success is to really start paying attention to our surroundings - something all members of Team Mildenhall should be doing anyway.

If you see something or someone that looks out of place, have the courage to call it out. Master Sgt. John Carter, 100th Security Forces Squadron Exercise Evaluation Team member, said it best: "Every Airman is a sensor."

"Cops can't be everywhere at once," he said. "We can use all the help we can get."

Suspicious activity should be reported to Security Forces by calling DSN 238-2667. Sergeant Carter said "suspicious activity" could be anything from a package left outside a building to someone walking on the flight line in civilian clothes without a line badge. Things like that should be reported, not only for exercises or inspection, but in the interest of safety.

"Instead of just walking away, call Security Forces," Sergeant Carter said.

The EET evaluator said tips for reporting suspicious activity can be found in the Airman's Manual, along with other helpful tips which will come in handy during exercises. Everyone, he said, should be reading their Airman's Manuals regularly.

"Keep in mind whether you're a 'player' in the exercise or not, we all have to work together to ensure success," Sergeant Carter added.
