U.S. Air Force Col. Gene Jacobus, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, attended a Remembrance Day event at Bury St. Edmunds, England, Nov. 14 2021.

British Army and U.S. military service members stood alongside each other during the ceremony to commemorate British and allied service members who have died in the line of duty in wars and other military conflicts since the onset of World War I. Remembrance Day is held in November of each year with the red poppy as the symbol of remembrance.
