WC-135 Constant Phoenix Aircraft Radiological Recovery Plan training

U.S. Airmen assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing, 55th Wing, 48th Fighter Wing and the Air Force Technical Applications Center conducted an Aircraft Radiological Recovery Plan training event, May 11, 2023. 

The WC-135 is an atmospheric collection aircraft that supports national-level consumers by collecting particulate and gaseous effluents and debris from accessible regions of the atmosphere in support of the Limited Test Ban Treaty of 1963, which prohibits signatory nations from above ground nuclear weapons testing.
