Kids' Safety Day
RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Children learn proper pet safety practices from 1st Lt. Natalie Winkels, 351st Air Refueling Squadron, at a Kids' Safety Day hosted by the American Red Cross Aug. 27 at the Bob Hope Community Center. Lieutenant Winkels volunteered to run a pet safety booth to show children how to safely approach an animal they do not know. "Kids don't always realize that just because a dog is small, that it can be dangerous, too," she said. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Thomas Trower)
