Deployed Mildenhall jet receives black-letter status

Rofelio Grinston, 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander, far right, pose with members of the maintenance crew for a KC-135 Stratotanker, tail number 63-8027, assigned to RAF Mildenhall Oct. 22, 2013, while visiting Moron Air Base, Spain. The crew received a personalized plaque emblazoned with the signature “Square D” for their efforts in attaining zero discrepancies for the aircraft, making it a black-letter aircraft.
