RAF Mildenhall senior leaders pay tribute to Victoria Cross winner Rawdon H. Middleton

Middleton at St. John’s Beck Row churchyard, Mildenhall, England, Nov. 24, 2021. Middleton was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in combat that may be presented to members of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth Armed Forces and was the first to any serving member of the Royal Australian Air Force in World War II.
