With the addition of the lot, the laundromat will be able to accommodate more customers, as well as make it easier for customers to transport laundry to and from the laundromat. RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Two parking lots are being constructed on RAF Mildenhall, England. The parking lot next to the base laundromat is slated for completion early July, while another is behind building 591, and scheduled for completion in mid-July.

The parking lots are being built to provide more room for parking for each of the buildings they border. With more personnel scheduled to occupy building 591, a larger area for the inhabitants' vehicles was required. Similarly, the laundromat suffered from less-than-adequate parking space to serve its customers.

These, along with other base construction projects, will continue through the summer. Once complete, they will provide an improved working and living space for Team Mildenhall members.
