Top leadership get down, dirty with AGE

RAF MILDENHALL, England --  Col. Christopher Kulas, 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Tracy Jones, 100th ARW command chief, visit the 100th Maintenance Squadron Aerospace Ground Equipment shop April 2, 2013, as part of the "dirty jobs" program here where leadership get an opportunity to perform critical jobs across base that ensure the mission continues.

The AGE shop is responsible for taking care of equipment that supplies electricity, air pressure and hydraulic pressure while planes prepare for flight.

"It's really cool to see Col. Kulas and Chief Jones in our shop working with us," said Airman 1st Class Daniel Brophey, 100th MXS AGE apprentice from Philadelphia.

The commander and command chief paired up with two Airmen to fix and conduct preventative maintenance on different types of equipment.

"This is the type of job I would have loved to have as a young Airman," said Jones.
