How does the individual portray that core value?
"Tech. Sgt. Koch is an outstanding wing scheduler for RAF Mildenhall," Capt. Ivan Blackwell said. He typically works late hours and answers mission essential questions 24/7 during his week of execution. Koch is known for his outstanding work ethic, dedication to KC-135 operations, and exemplifies the "Square D" way.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Serving in the Air Force is important to me because I have the ability to make a significant impact toward accomplishing our nation's goals.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
I am most proud of having the opportunity to hold the chief boom position during a squadron deployment in support of Operation Unified Protector. Among other things, it allowed me to broaden my perspective, and to better understand the roles of numerous other career fields.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
A personal goal is to finish my Bachelor's degree and to move on to a Master's degree. Professionally, I would like to continue serving in the Air Force, holding as many different positions as possible.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy working with other nations to coordinate and conduct air refueling. Also, instructing newly-assigned Airmen in air refueling aboard the KC-135.
