How does the individual portray that core value? Lewis has impacted her section from her first day joining our team, said Senior Master Sgt. Pat Brunson, 352nd SOMXS maintenance operations flight chief. Her top priority is the training and success of her people. Her commitment to excellence drives her team to accurately collate and report aircraft data which clearly provides MAJCOM leadership a picture of MC-130 fleet health and maintenance trends. Work isn't all that motivates her desire to serve. Her service to both the military and civilian communities is noteworthy. In her short time here she has been involved in multiple initiatives, to include the Team Mildenhall annual awards banquet, squadron holiday party organization, Joan Mann sports day, the 352nd SOMXS Knucklebuster banquet, and numerous morale-building feasts for our flight line workers.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Growing up a Navy brat I always admired and respected my father for his service to our country, and he always said those were the best times of his life. I want to experience the same thing, and want to be a part of something that matters.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
I am most proud of being chosen as the command chief assistant at my last assignment. I learned so much about the Air Force because I got the opportunity to work side by side with a Chief Master Sergeant with 30 years of experience.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My most important personal goal is to complete my degree in Computer Information Systems Management at Park University, and graduate cum laude. Professionally, I am working towards earning the rank of Technical Sergeant.

What is your favorite part of your job?
Working with and teaching airmen. I love being able to show another individual how to accomplish a task, or an easier way of doing that task. It is very empowering and fulfilling to influence and motivate others.
