RAF MILDENHALL, England --  There is a new way for people to discover upcoming events various organizations are offering at RAF Mildenhall - the MyMC2 app.

MyMC2, which stands for My Military Communities, is a free mobile application available for download on smart devices through both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

The app primarily serves as a giant calendar, pulling events from RAF Mildenhall organizations' Facebook pages, and consolidating them into one list. This allows viewers to see a variety of events at once, without having to visit multiple unit Facebook websites. Additionally, users are able to sort through the events according to their interests via the app's filter option.

Another feature of the app is its directory, which contains descriptions of and contact information for the different organizations connected to the app.

Members of the 375th Communication Support Squadron at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., developed the app and Air Forces bases across the world have connected to it, making this app very useful to Airmen not only at their home station, but also when they travel for temporary duty assignments or permanent change of station to other bases using the app.

Those interested in downloading the app should visit their smart device's app store and search "My Military Communities" or "MyMC2." Once the app is installed, users can open the app and select "RAF Mildenhall" as their installation to view the upcoming events scheduled to take place here.

The 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs office encourages official units and organizations on base to call DSN 238-4033 if they would like to link their unit/organization Facebook page to the RAF Mildenhall section of MyMC2.
