RAF Mildenhall transitions to LeaveWeb 4.0 Published Feb. 1, 2013 By Senior Airman Jerilyn Quintanilla 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Beginning Feb. 1, 2013, Team Mildenhall will see some changes to the leave request process as the base transitions to LeaveWeb 4.0. "The system is designed to give more power and flexibility to the units," 2nd Lt. Justin Kelley, 100th Comptroller Squadron financial services flight commander said. The new system brings along with it a few changes and potential benefits as a result. "For the member, inputting leave will be easier and should flow smoother," Senior Airman Keylor Halbur, 100th CPTS customer service technician said. "For supervisors, it will be easier to see when a subordinate puts in a leave request." Other changes include a digital signature requirement for requesters and approving officials and the elimination of tracking numbers which keeps users reliant on email for access. The upgraded system will also have the capability to process all 18 types of leave. To learn more about LeaveWeb 4.0, users can access the training database on the LeaveWeb site.
