How does the individual portray that core value?
Crawford consistently gets the job done ahead of schedule and gets it right the first time, said Master Sgt. Lloyd Tate, 488th Intelligence Squadron network operations superintendent. This cannot be done without excellence being part of the fore front.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
The Air Force is important to me because my grandfather has always been my mentor and served in the Air Force during Vietnam, so it has always been a goal of mine. Also, it gave me the chance to pursue opportunities that would not be available if I did not join.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
The event I am most proud of happened when I was stationed in South Carolina at Joint Base Charleston. During this time I was a member of a Haiti Repatriation Team. I was given the opportunity to provide aid to135 displaced citizens. Our goal was to ensure everyone received food, shelter, and medical attention. The situation was awakening, especially when we were finishing up. A little boy that was about 5 years old who had nothing but his mother and dust-covered stuffed bear fought his way through the crowds of people to grab onto my leg and tell me thank you before catching his taxi to meet the rest of his uprooted family. That child did not realize it but he put many things into perspective for me.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My current personal goals include finishing my Bachelor's degree and move on to complete my Master's degree. As far as my professional goal I want to become a Chief Master Sergeant before retiring from the Air Force.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I am currently in a diverse work center that has three different Air Force Specialty Code working together. I enjoy this part of my assignment because it allows me to learn how to do different jobs.
