How does the individual portray that core value?
SSgt Roman strives to be the best, not only in her primary job, but also in her dedication to learn her additional duties, which mostly entails current operations of an extremely high ops tempo unit, said Master Sgt. Michael Milich, 67th SOS acting First Sergeant. She is the continuity our squadron can really count on. This core value is also portrayed off duty in her ongoing commitment to further her education.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
Being part of the Air Force allows me to be a part of something bigger than myself that has a real world impact that I can tangibly see and be proud of.

What accomplishment during your Air Force career are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my first deployment. I had arrived at my first assignment just four months before I was tasked to deploy. While deployed, I was able to work alongside an amazing unit and gain perspective of the Air Force mission at such an early point in my career.

What are your personal and/or professional goals?
My personal goal is to finish my masters' degree before I PCS from RAF Mildenhall to my next assignment. My professional goal is to make Technical Sergeant my first time around.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is how complex it is on a day-to-day basis. It keeps me engaged and allows me to further expand my knowledge of my job without stagnation, which provides a sense of fulfillment.
