Events scheduled for Holocaust Remembrance Week

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- The following events are scheduled at RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Week:

RAF Mildenhall:

April 16 to 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - The Gateway Dining Facility 'Fireside' will host a lunch and movie daily.

April 17, 11 a.m. - Mark Howell, 100th Air Refueling Wing historian, will present a Holocaust lecture at the 100th Operations Group auditorium.

RAF Lakenheath:

April 19, 11:30 - A remembrance lunch will be held at the Eagles' Nest ballroom. The lunch will feature a guest speaker, Geoffrey Perry, J.P., who arrived in London in 1936 as a 13-year-old refugee from Hitler's Nazi Germany. The meal is Italian, and costs $10 for club members and $12 for non-club members.
