After the success of last year's Caring for People forums Air-Force wide, the now-annual event will take place at locally at the RAF Mildenhall Chapel April 17, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The RAF Mildenhall Integrated Delivery Service team is looking for volunteers to be part of the forum and share their issues and concerns in discussion groups. Military members, civilians, spouses and retirees are all invited.

Trained facilitators will lead the forum's working groups, and discussions will be open. Volunteers are requested and encouraged to bring and share ideas about improving Air Force quality of life programs and activities for Airmen and family members.

The five key areas to be discussed are:
· Single Airmen support
· Family support, spouse communication and school support
· Health and wellness support
· Special-needs family member support
· Deployment

The purpose of the Caring for People forum is to provide base commanders the opportunity to create measurable improvement in specific areas, which affect their community daily.

The top two issues and concerns of the working group will be briefed to forum participants, who then vote on the final issues which cannot be resolved at base level.

At the end of the forum, a final out brief will be presented to the RAF Mildenhall Community Action Involvement Board of the top 10 issues that may be elevated to U.S. Air Forces in Europe- level IDS.

To volunteer for the forum, e-mail Sharon Rector at sharon.rector@mildenhall.af.mil or call DSN 238-3406.

Military members can also sign up via SharePoint. The deadline for sign-up is April 10.

Please note, uniform is civilian clothes. Lunch will be provided.
