Marshal of the Royal Air Force visits RAF Mildenhall
RAF MILDENHALL, England – Sir Michael Beetham, (center) poses with 100 Air Refueling Wing leadership and (left) Station Warrant Officer Paul Edwards, RAF Marham, for a group photo at the Galaxy Club here Oct. 11, 2011. Beetham, a former bomber pilot, served during World War II and flew his first raid over Berlin at the age of 20. He held several leadership positions including Chief of the Air Staff, the highest rank in the Royal Air Force. He retired in 1982 after 41 years of military service.
