100th ARW commander to host town hall meeting Sept. 22 Published Sept. 15, 2011 By Tech. Sgt. Kevin Wallace 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- The 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, Col. Christopher Kulas, will host a town hall meeting here Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. at the RAF Mildenhall theater to discuss the results of the 2011 Quality of Life Survey. Kulas invites Airmen and family members to the discussion. Additionally the 100th Mission Support Group commander, Col. David Doe, and representatives from the Army Air Force Exchange Service, Defense Commissary Agency, Department of Defense Education Activity, Housing 48th Medical Group (medical and dental), and Community Bank will all be present, ensuring a qualified subject matter expert can answer any questions members have. Expanded fitness options, healthier food choices, more parking, faster appointments, and increased customer service at base facilities were some topics the Quality of Life Survey indicated needed further attention. Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James Roy, along with his sister service counterparts, testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee on such issues in April. Quality of life is very important to 100th ARW leadership and experts have been assembled to improve different areas.
