For example, the 100th Communications Squadron is hosting a 5K (5-kilometer run or walk) here Sept. 17 at 9 a.m. to help raise funds. "One-hundred percent of the proceeds are going to Joan Mann [Special Sports Day]," said Airman 1st Class Jeremy Mills, 100th CS airfield systems technician.
