Arts, Crafts center hosts gallery contest

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- The RAF Mildenhall Arts and Crafts Center is currently accepting crafts, digital art and photography submissions for the 2012 Air Force Arts and Crafts Gallery program.

Individuals whose entries are selected will receive recognition from Headquarters Air Force Services Agency.

Applicants will compete against members of their own age group. The groups are: adults, youth ages 13-17, and youth ages 6-12.

"Entries must be brought to the Arts and Crafts Center along with an Air Force Gallery Showcase entry application," said Beth Cooper, Arts and Crafts manager. "Each entry must [also] have a digital photo taken, which can be emailed or brought in [to the center] by other media."

All Department of Defense ID card-holders are eligible to participate. Deployed members may send their submissions directly to their home installation arts and crafts centers. There will be a limit of three entries per person, per category, for a maximum of nine entries.
