An exercise designed to test RAF Mildenhall's ability to respond to an emergency scenario will be conducted Aug. 30 - Sep. 1.

Various base agencies could be participating, including security forces, safety representatives, and fire department and medical services. These agencies may respond with full lights and sirens within the base - all of which are a scheduled part of the exercise. These events may occur at any time, day or night.

The planned scenarios could impact traffic flow in the local area due to diverted traffic around blocked-off areas, non-standard operating hours and changes in base entry procedures.
