To help cut down on crime, the 100th Security Forces Squadron have put together Operation Crime Stop, a simple program encouraging members of the on- and off-base communities to immediately report any crimes or suspicious actions they see.

Some people prefer to remain anonymous when reporting their observations to the police. Operation Crime Stop helps overcome reluctance to become involved with security forces by offering one specific phone number for crime reporting. This allows witnesses to remain anonymous.

Operation Crime Stop provides a safe way to report both suspected and actual crimes anonymously. Anonymous crime reports include school crimes, such as persistant bullying; domestic violence; suspicious activity; threatening acts or behavior; possession of weapons, and the use or sale of illegal drugs.

When calling the Operation Crime Stop number, ensure you provide the following information:
· Name or description of the person involved
· A description of the crime or suspicious activity, including as much detail as possible
· The location (be as precise as possible)

It's important to report all crimes. Don't be afraid to get involved, and help McGruff the Crime Dog, and his friends at 100th SFS, "Take a bite out of crime."

The following phone numbers can be used to report a crime or suspicious activity:
