Introducing Box D Weekly

RAF MILDENHALL, England --  The 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs Office is introducing the Box D Weekly, an electronic newsletter, Feb. 11 to cut down the amount of basewide e-mails sent out on a daily basis.

"The new product will provide a consolidation of local command messages and volunteer opportunities, while reducing overwhelming daily e-mail traffic," said Capt. Lindsey Hahn, chief of PA.

The Box D Weekly will be sent out on Fridays. The e-newsletter will include, but is not limited to, community briefs of upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, a link to the 100th ARW event calendar, links to the latest stories along with photos, and a link to the Mildenhall webpage.

"The Box D Weekly will not replace urgent messages pertaining to safety, security or well-being issues," said Captain Hahn, adding that 'Mildenhall-All' e-mails will continue to be sent out when deemed necessary by PA.

Submissions for the Box D Weekly should be sent to the 100th ARW/Marauder inbox at marauder@mildenhall.af.mil, no later than close of business Wednesday the week the information is required to be sent out. The information will run in the Box D Weekly for two weeks.
