Halloween weekend and Guy Fawkes activities Published Oct. 26, 2010 By Staff Reports 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Halloween is right around the corner, and RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath are hosting their events on Oct. 30 and 31. Trick or Treat RAF Lakenheath will host its activities in base housing Oct. 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. To make sure everyone has a fun and safe holiday, the 48th Security Forces Squadron is asking for volunteers to help with Pumpkin Patrol. RAF Mildenhall will host its trick or treating Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The AMC terminal will scan candy from 6 to 9 p.m. Volunteers with Operation Pumpkin Patrol will be assisting to ensure a safe night for all involved. A change of pace with British flair For those looking for a local English activity to participate in rather than the traditional Halloween festivities, Beck Row Village will be hosting a fireworks display Oct. 30 off St. John Street in Beck Row. The fireworks display is an early event celebrating Guy Fawkes Day. The bonfire will be lit at 6 p.m., with the fireworks display at 6:30 p.m. Live music will be provided and the event is free though donations will be accepted for the Beck Row Community Association.
