The Team Mildenhall Combined Federal Campaign will kick off Monday.  The following information is provided by the Combined Federal Campaign's publicity website.

As a U.S. servicemember, DoD civilian or family member, you have answered our nation's call to serve overseas in defense of the freedoms many Americans take for granted. Often in the line of duty, you see evidence of real need and understand the hardships endured around the globe.

In addition to your selfless service, many of you gave generously to the Combined Federal Campaign-Overseas in 2009, raising more than $15.6 million for individuals and organizations in need around the globe.

This year's CFC-O has more than 2,300 participating charities and several easy ways to contribute including online pledge assistant, credit card giving and the traditional paper pledge form.

Each service member and DoD civilian employee assigned to the overseas commands will receive a copy of the 2010 CFC-O Charity Listing and a 2010 CFC-O Pledge Card from their CFC-O Keyworker. If you have not received a paper copy and which to have one, please contact your unit's CFC-O representative or your supporting CFC-O office for assistance.

To use the computer to electronically complete a pledge card for a payroll allotment or cash/check contribution, click on our e-Giving program. Simply follow the user-friendly instructions to enter your personal information, select the charities you wish to support and designate your contribution amount. These pledge cards should be printed and turned in to your unit's CFC representative.

Credit/debit card and e-Check contributions can be made by accessing our e-Giving program. Simply follow the user-friendly instructions to enter your personal information, select the charitable organizations you wish to support and designate your contribution amount. You can decide if you would like to give a one-time donation or a reoccurring monthly contribution. This is a fully automated pledge, so you will not need to turn a copy in to your unit's CFC representative. There is a giving cap of 2 percent of base pay in the credit card giving program.

Whichever convenient method of contribution you choose, the CFC-O sincerely appreciates your support. We salute your service to our nation and would like to thank you for Making a World of Difference in the lives of those you will help through your contribution to the Combined Federal Campaign.
