POW/MIA Week in full swing

RAF MILDENHALL, England --  POW/MIA Remembrance Week runs until Sept. 17, and events will be taking place around RAF Mildenhall to remember and honor those who have sacrificed their freedom or lives in past conflicts.

Events are as follows:

· Tuesday, 11 a.m. - Rolling Thunder motorcycle ride. Riders will meet at the BXtra parking lot at 10:30 a.m. The motorcycle ride will end at RAF Lakenheath, and will be followed by a free barbecue for all riders, at the park next to Taco Bell.

· Wednesday, 8 a.m. - There will be a POW/MIA 5K. The meeting place will be announced soon.

· Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to Friday, 4:30 p.m. - 24-hour vigil and reading of names at the POW/MIA Memorial, across from the wing headquarters building 239. A retreat will immediately follow the vigil end Friday.
