2010 Armed Forces Day slated for June 26

RAF MILDENHALL, England --  The Mildenhall Royal British Legion and St. Mary's Primary School are hosting Armed Forces Day 2010 in Mildenhall June 26.

The event will begin with a parade for any organization whishing to be involved. Participants are asked to form up at Recreation Way at 11:45 a.m.; the parade will commence at 12 p.m.

The parade will consist of saluting and laying flowers at the war memorial. The parade will then continue down Field Road and turn right before entering at the rear of St. Mary's playground.

The day promises to be a fun day for all.

The event will consist of fancy dress (costumes), cash prizes, and an anti-littering campaign. Other attractions include food stalls, ice cream, a fun fair, bouncy castles and a disco.
