RAF Mildenhall public Web site, illustrative photographer named best in Air Force Published April 7, 2010 By Staff Reports 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- The 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs office produces the best Web site in theĀ United States Air Force - so said a panel of judges in the 2009 Air Force Media Contest April 7. Staff Sgt. Christopher L. Ingersoll, also placed first for his graphic illustration concerning responsible drinking. Both the Web site and Sergeant Ingersoll will go on to represent the U.S. Air Force in the Department of Defense Thomas Jefferson Awards contest against winners from the Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. The Web site and graphic were among five categories to compete at the Air Force level - others were Outstanding New writer of the Year, Photojournalism, and Pictorial. The five entries that competed at the Air Force level were among 10 U.S. Air Forces in Europe Media competition awards also won by the 100th ARW Public Affairs staff. Those USAFE awards include: 1st place - Web-based Publication, 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs 1st place - Photojournalism, Staff Sgt. Tommy Trower 1st place - Art/Graphic, Staff Sgt.
