American heroes Neil Armstrong, Gene Cernan, Jim Lovell, Bob Gilliland, Steve Richie and David Hartman are scheduled to visit the Galaxy Club ballroom here March 11 at 7 p.m.

This Armed Forces Entertainment event is sponsored and held in association with Morale Entertainment Foundation and American Airlines to provide an opportunity for anyone with base access to see these "Legends of Aerospace."

"Mr. Hartman, former Good Morning America host, is hosting the event," said Stephanie Lown, Bob Hope Community Center director. "It's open to anyone who can get on base."

With the theme of "The Impossible is Possible," the first and last astronauts to walk on the moon, Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Cernan, Apollo 13 Commander Mr. Lovell, Mr. Gilliland, SR-71 Blackbird chief test pilot, and Mr. Richie, the last Air Force pilot ace, join to meet and share their stories about great achievements in aerospace.

"Steve Richie gives a great speech about leadership that inspires excellence," said Ms. Lown. "The event will be followed by a question and answer session."

The group is flying through RAF Mildenhall on their return trip to the United States after several shows in Europe and offered to share their time here, said Ms. Lown.

"It's an honor to have the opportunity to meet these living legends," she said.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For more information, contact the Bob Hope Community Center at DSN 238-2579.
