AFPC to hold civilian employment briefings at RAFs Mildenhall, Lakenheath Published Jan. 21, 2010 By Staff Reports 100th Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Delegates from AFPC will be at RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath to brief civilian appropriated fund employees on the new changes requiring resumes to apply for some jobs at air bases in Europe and two air bases in Texas and South Korea. The briefing will outline how the changes affect the employee, review the application process, and show applicants the process of self-nomination using resumes. Maximum participation is encouraged. AFPC will conduct two separate briefings. The first session will be held on Feb. 10 at the RAF Mildenhall Base Theater at 1 p.m. The second will be held Feb. 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the RAF Lakenheath Strike Eagle Complex Auditorium. Each session will be about 90 minutes. Employees at both locations are welcome to attend with supervisor approval. The change affects civilian employees applying for jobs at any of the Air Force bases in Europe, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, and Osan Air Base in South Korea. It applies only to jobs staffed through the Air Force Personnel Center, not through other Air Force agencies. Civilian employees will begin using the resume based application as early as mid-February.
