The post office is celebrating stamp month for its third year as part of a larger tradition that goes back 16 years for the Air Force and 27 years for the United States Postal Service.

"To get involved, all our customers have to do is stop by the post office lobby and correctly answer the question of the day, and we give them a prize," said Master Sgt. Elvin Araujo-Guzman, 100th Communications Squadron.

The celebration is to help promote stamp collecting with children.

"Stamp collecting is a hobby that can be enjoyed by the entire family, young and old alike," said Sergeant Araujo-Guzman. "It's a fascinating pastime that's both educational and entertaining."

If you want to be a part of the long tradition, stop by the post office and get involved.
