Two early goals from Jonathan Fraher helped the 100th Force Support Squadron defeat the 100th Operations Group 4-1 in intramural soccer at the Hardstand Fitness Center Sept. 21. With two players short, the 100th OG were always up against it, and made 100th FSS earn their victory. A neat shot from Philip Rosen added a third goal for the FSS. Some resolute goal keeping from Karen Wiekierak in the 100th OG goal kept the score down. Then, right on halftime, the OG were rewarded for their hard work when Pete Shayhorn pulled a goal back. Halftime score was 100th OG 1, 100th FSS 3.

Second half started the same as the first, with the 100th OG soaking up all that the 100th FSS could throw at them. Up the other end Bethany "Mantis" Mettes and Jonathan Fraher were able to break up most of the 100th OG's attacks. With missed opportunities and some good defending, Carlos Sanchez finally added a fourth for the FSS with a minute to go, although Zach Sickler should have made it five when he missed an open goal from a yard out. Final score was 100th OG 1, 100th FSS 4.
