Airmen stationed here are running out of time to meet their annual Sexual Assault Prevention and Response training requirement for fiscal 2009.

Those required to take the training should coordinate with their unit training managers to get it accomplished before time runs out, said Rebekah Downs, RAF Mildenhall Sexual Assault Response Coordinator.

Several training dates in August are planned, and units can schedule their own training through the SARC office. Anyone who attended the "Sex Signals" presentation in April received credit for the mandatory training.

According to Ms. Downs, unit training managers are required to track attendance and each wing must report to U.S. Air Forces in Europe headquarters on how many people failed to take the training - which highlights the base in a negative way. The training last about half an hour, she said.

Training dates and times for August are as follows:

Aug. 6, 8 a.m. at the 100th Operations Group auditorium
Aug. 19, 2 p.m. at the base theater
Aug. 20, 8 a.m. at the 100 OG auditorium
Aug. 26, 2 p.m. at the base theater
Aug. 28, 8 a.m. at the 100 OG auditorium
