Health and Wellness Center classes for April announced

The following is a list of events being put on by the Health and Wellness Center during the month of April.

All classes are held at the center and can be booked by squadron Unit Fitness Program Manager or by calling the HAWC on DSN 238-7161. The center offers body fat measurements, dietary appointments and fitness consultations, all of which can be booked by calling Kelly Livett at DSN 238-7161.

The center is located inside Building 849, the Hardstand Fitness Center.

Stress and Anger Management classes are offered every Wednesday.

Stress Management classes are held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Anger Management classes are held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Parenting Classes are offered every Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. No appointments are necessary, and the next session begins the first Wednesday of the month.

The relaxation room with massage chair and Light Therapy Room are also available. No appointment is needed and sessions last 30 minutes per session.

There will be a Runner's Clinic every other month - April's class will be 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., April 30.

Mr. Cook's Circuit Class 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday -
Fitness Fundamentals Workout Class with Mr. Cook -- Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Wednesdays
HLP (healthy Living Program) 8 to 10:30 a.m.
HLP F/U Non-Runners 2 to 3 p.m.
HLP F/U Runners 3:15 to 4:30p.m.

This month, look out for the Cooking Class being held April 9 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and Emotional Eaters class April 16 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. This month the HAWC is also offering Alcohol Awareness Displays and other Information.
