The Air Force Chief of Chaplains will be the guest speaker for the base chapel's annual National Prayer Luncheon March 12.

Chaplain (Maj. Gen.) Cecil R. Richardson will speak for about 45 minutes before a free sandwich lunch will be served. The event kicks off at 11:30 a.m.

Emma J. Doel, Secretary to the Wing Chaplain, said although there will be prayers throughout the event, it is not a true church service and is open free-of-charge to everyone. Dress for the event is uniform of the day.

Ms. Doel said the general is visiting Mildenhall on a "tour of England," and will be speaking at other Royal Air Force bases where American servicemembers are stationed during his trip. The theme for Chaplain Richardson's presentation is "Where in the World is God?"

Normally, the National Prayer Luncheon is held at the club, and attendees pay for the event.
