Rain doesn't stop play at Wing Sports Day

The cold, wet conditions didn't dampen the spirits of the competitors who participated in the Annual Wing Sports Day here Oct. 2. A whole range of sports from racquetball, dodgeball, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball and basketball were on offer. Wing Sports Day is a day of fun and friendly competition, where Airmen and civilians from their respective work centers work together to compete for the top spot and a year's worth of bragging rights.

Results of the events are as follows: 

Soccer:
1st place- 100th Civil Engineer Squadron
2nd place- 727th Air Mobility Squadron

Dodgeball:
1st place- 100th CES
2nd place- 351st Aircraft Refueling Squadron

Basketball:
1st place- 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron
2nd place- 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron

Softball:
1st place- 100th LRS
2nd place- 100th Operations Group

Tennis:
1st place- 100th Communications Squadron
2nd place- 100th CS

Volleyball:
1st place-100th LRS
2nd place- 100th Security Forces Squadron

Racquetball:
1st place- 727th AMS
2nd place- 488th Intelligence Support Squadron
