All of the 100th Security Forces Squadron customer service flights except the visitor's center are now in one place - Building 438, in Washington Square.

Pass and registration; reports and analysis; information, personnel and industrial security, and installation security have moved from separate areas around the base into one facility, making things more convenient for customers, said Chris Johnson, 100th SFS Plans and Programs flight chief.

The squadron commander, first sergeant and commander's support staff have also moved into the building.

"It's enabled us to consolidate plans and programs, and installation security," said Mr. Johnson. "We've been separate for so long and we've never been able to collocate with them until now.

"One of the most important functions of moving in together here, is that we've been able to consolidate pass and registration," he said. "Previously they were separate - the car registration was up at the visitor control center, and the other parts, dealing with restricted area badges and non-U.S. ID cards were done in Building 424."

The bottom line is that all the 100th SFS customer service facilities, other than the visitor control center (which performs a completely different function) have been brought to one place.

"Being on Washington Square now means we're with all the other customer service agencies, such as finance, the education center, military personnel flight and civilian personnel flight. It's actually very convenient for the customer," said Mr. Johnson.
