100th OSS flight is “life” of party
Staff Sgt. Patrick Magennis, 100th Operations Support Squadron, packs an LPU 10/P life preserver after it has been inflated and inspected. They maintain about 1,000 of the life preservers, which are used by the 352nd Special Operations Group in MC-130P Combat Shadow and MC-130H Combat Talon II aircraft. The life support flight is responsible for maintaining, inspecting and repairing equipment flight crews might use during emergencies. That equipment includes survival gear, flotation devices, rafts, signaling devices, parachutes and radios. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Clark Staehle)
