USAFE commander bids farewell to Team Mildenhall, Air Force

Gen. William T. Hobbins, U.S. Air Forces in Europe commander, visited RAF Mildenhall Dec. 3, 2007, for his farewell speech to the men and women of Team Mildenhall. The general is retiring from his position as USAFE commander, and is doing a farewell visit to bases under his command.

While at RAF Mildenhall, General Hobbins STEP-promoted Tech. Sgt. Christopher Allen, 100th Communications Squadron. The general was then presented a Box D plaque from the 100th Air Refueling Wing commander, Col. Eden Murrie.

General Hobbins leaves behind 38 years of powerful support and dedication to air power and the Air Force.
