U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Jack B. Egginton, 3rd Air Force vice commander, and Rwandan Eugene Zimlunda from the U.S. Department of Defense Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, discuss the combined efforts of U.S. and Rwandans in the fight against AIDS during General Egginton's visit to a U.S.-sponsored AIDS clinic in Rwanda Nov. 16. The clinic staff treats more than 400 people per month, provides counseling and conducts testing in a self-sufficient laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment. This was General Egginton's first visit to Rwanda since assuming his current position at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom, Nov. 1.
