One such change involves individual fitness levels. Fitness scores will now be assessed as part of the evaluation. Members who score 75 or greater will "Meet" standards while a score of 74.9 or less will be assessed as "Does Not Meet" standards. A fitness score of less than 75 requires the evaluation to be referred. An individual may also be "Exempt" from the fitness portion of the evaluation, but only if they are exempt from all four components of the fitness exam. Other changes include the use of digital signatures to endorse the evaluations and the CSSs will now be responsible for processing evaluations. That includes closing out the reports in MilPDS and routing the reports to AFPC or ARPC using the Case Management System evaluation application. There are many other changes to the evaluations process. For the latest updates and guidance, contact your unit CSS, Military Personnel Flight, or access the AFPC Web site and download the published memorandums, instructions, and training briefs.
