Heritage Park opens for business

RAF MILDENHALL, England -- Children's play area, Heritage Park, located next to the running track and outdoor recreation, officially opened July 3.

Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it is open to all active-duty and retired military and their family members, Department of Defense and Ministry of Defence employees assigned to RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath.

As well as the play area, it has wooden gazebo and brick-built barbecues will also be put up. There is also a power source for bouncy castles.

The area is available for rent, through outdoor recreation, both privately and to squadrons. The cost is as follows: private functions -- one to 10people, $20; 11 to 25 people, $30; 26 to 100 people, $40; and more than 100 people, $50.

For squadron functions it is free of charge, but a refundable $20 cleaning deposit is required.
