The mission of the 100th Maintenance Squadron is to keep the aircraft at Royal Air Force Mildenhall in the air. However, they also stand ready to provide support to our host nation partner. Airmen from the 100th MXS recently supported RAF Brize Norton by preparing 12 of their C-17 Globemaster II aircraft wheels for disassembly in order for new tires to be installed. This partnership allows both the U.S. Air Force and the RAF to remain a ready force and execute airpower anytime, any place.
