RAF MILDENHALL, England -- The 48th Fighter Wing, in partnership with the 100th Aerial Refueling Wing, will conduct F-15 and F-35 flight operations from RAF Mildenhall July 14-28 in support of Agile Combat Employment training. This strengthens both units’ mission readiness, showcasing their ability to rapidly establish and support operations from different locations with integrated capabilities and interoperability across core functions.
During this period, communities in East Anglia and the surrounding regions may see and hear U.S. fighter aircraft taking off and landing at RAF Mildenhall. No night flying is planned during this period.
Exercises like this provide both aircrew and support personnel stationed at RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath with the experience needed to maintain a ready force capable of ensuring the collective defense of the NATO alliance.
